Introduction to Free Pacing Guide and what to expect
Personal finance is an up and coming subject in the US, with many states recently moving to mandate it as a subject in high schools. This can make it a challenging time for educators as we scramble to find curriculum and resources to build our class for the year.

I created this google document to formalize what I have been doing for years which now makes me the most planned out that I've ever been going into a school year! I also wanted to make it freely available to any other teacher who could use it as a guide or inspiration for their own classroom.

The free Google Document has 26 pages of day-by-day breakdown of what I plan to do in each class period and in what order. All resources I use are linked and I will continue to update this document as I create or find better ways of doing things.

You will find a combination of free and paid resources, with many of the free resources including some of my favorite sources:
  • NGPF
  • Two Cents
  • EverFI
  • Intuit
  • Personal Finance Club
  • YouTube
I hope you get value from it and please send me an email with questions, concerns, ideas for improving topics, or suggestions for new resources that you'd love to see built.

I wish you all the best in your school year!
